About
My primary goal as a Massage Therapist is to improve the health and well-being of my clients. I enjoy helping others and feel reqarded from seeing improvements. I take great pride in my work and try to educate the public about the many benefits of Massage Therapy.
The question I am most frequently asked is: What made you choose to become a Massage Therapist?
My answer is this: When I was younger, I was suffering from TMJ dysfunction. I had tried a variety of treatment options with little or no success. I had only two options left. Massage Therapy or surgery. I chose to give massage a try. It worked! Since I first felt relief, I have wanted to do the same thing for other people. No one should have to suffer when there is a solution!
I graduated in June 2007, after completing the extensive 2200 hour Massage Therapy program in London, Ontario. I passed the comprehensive written and practical examinastions in July/August 2007. Immediately after passing I registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario as a Registered Massage Therapist.
After receiving my registration with the CMTO, I established a clinic, located within my home. It is in a century home, in a well established neighbourhood, on a bus route.
Being in a home environment provides a feeling of being at ease and calm, in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere., and there is no clinical type waiting room so your privacy is always respected. The hours are flexible, so I can accomodate most people's schedules.
A warning to allergy sufferers: My clinic is located in my home, and we do have pets (cats).
