Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Do you accept Visa/Mastercard or Interact/Debit?

Answer: No. The accepted methods of payment are cash, cheque, Paypal, or email money transfers.

If using Papal or email transfers, payment must be received PRIOR to treatment. More information is
available on the "Appointments" page.

Question: Do you accept company health benefits? How do I claim my benefits?

Answer: I do NOT submit the information to your health benefit company for you. When you pay for your
massage, I write a receipt that you submit to your health insurance company. They will reimburse you
the money. If you have any further questions on this matter please call or email me.

Question: Do I have to get completely undressed when I get a massage?

Answer: No. What clothing you decide to remove is completely up to you. If you are uncomfortable
undressing, the massage can be performed over your clothes. Furthermore, you are completely
draped (covered) with a sheet at all times, except for the specific area that is being treated at that
time. For example, if your left leg is being treated, only your left leg is not covered by the sheet.
You should always feel safe, comfortable and secure.

Question: What if I am uncomfortable with the massage after the treatment has started?

Answer: You have the right to stop or modify the treatment at any time if you are uncomfortable.
Do not worry about offending the massage therapist. Your comfort is very important. If you are not
comfortable, you cannot relax, if you are not relaxed the massage is not going to be effective.

Question: What does the massage therapist wear while massage a client?

Answer: I choose to wear scrubs to present a professional appearance in the health field, as well as for
their practicality and comfort. What a massage therapist wears to work is their own personal decision.

Question: How far ahead do I need to book an appointment. Is there added costs for same day
and next day appointments?

Answer: You can book as far ahead for an appointment as you wish. Same day and next appointments,
if available, need to be booked by phone. There are slightly higher rates for same day appointments only, and these rates can be found on the "Appointments" page.

Question: How often should I schedule my massage sessions?
Answer: How often you decide to receive a massage is a personal choice, usually based on schedule availablilty and finances. Studies have shown that receiving massage at regular intervals is most beneficial to your overall health. I recommend receiving a massage at least once every 4 to 6 weeks, if not more frequently.

Question: Do you have family rates?
Answer: No. I do not offer and family/group discounts.

Question: Do you work strictly 9-5 or are you flexible?
Answer: I try to be as flexible as possible. My business hours can be seen on the "Appointments" page.
